Living abroad is not all sunshine and roses. Trust me. In fact there are days when I just want to crawl into a hole and never come out and never ever hear a German syllable again in this lifetime!
The other day I had one of those moments. I hadn’t talked about how much I was homesick for America (the grocery store, having friends, being able to understand church, etc.) and I broke down. And then I realized how blessed we are to be living in such a beautiful and historic country and city. I know that may sound horrible that I even doubted living here because most people would kill to live here but again its harder than it seems.
However, there are also many perks. Experiencing different cultures, foods, people. And finding the best ice cream shop in every major European city. We are experts in this particular field. (If you ever need recommendations contact us or my parents ;) ) So here are some beautiful pictures of our beautiful city.
