Walk Down Memory Lane

I clearly remember walking into our first apartment in Vienna, wide-eyed, naïve, and full of excitement! Little did I know, I was walking into one of my young life's most challenging and most rewarding periods. It was chaotic. Hindsight really is 20/20 because if I had known what I was walking into I don't know if I would've been as cheerful. But there's a lot that helped me grow and become the person I am today.

Enter Foreign Affairs. This little blog was (and still is) my small way of coping; trying to understand a new chapter of life. I’m not one who naturally shares how I feel but writing makes it a little easier.

But as I began sharing our experiences, I realized that I loved writing about our travels and yummy places we’ve eaten and books I’ve been loving! It turned into a happy little corner for me. But life got really busy. I worked two jobs for a while. I started painting again. I found other ways to be creative.
After a while, I realized I missed it! And I missed connecting with you!
So in a way, Foreign Affairs is a stream of consciousness/travel guide/creative outlet (and more). I don’t know how long it will be around this time but I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
