Our First Week

Europe has always felt like a second home. I don't remember who said it but someone important said "America is my country and Paris is my home." Now that might not directly apply to me because we live in Vienna but you get the picture.
Oliver and I have been living here for almost two weeks. It has been exciting and challenging. Our first week here was an adventure, to say the least. We were basically "glamping". Our mattress was on the ground with no frame and the only piece of furniture we had was a big, black Ikea shelf next to the bed. But we were happy! Because we were together, finally.
Two days after our wedding, Oliver had to go to Vienna for university (the semester started the day before our wedding) and I wasn't coming until a week and a half later. What a honeymoon right?
Our little adventure of eating on the kitchen floor and figuring out metro maps, learning German (me...) and only have little plastic cups and four plates to eat with, will be a fond memory of how our life together started. Yes, we have since gotten a bed frame, a table and chairs, and a few more essentials, but it was fun to "glamp" for the first while.
Some wedding photos cause I'm super gushy and love them!
